Rest and restore. Yoga Nidra may just be your new best friend. 45 minutes of guided meditation that is equivalent to one REM cycle or about 3 hours of average sleep! This practice of doing nothing can be done seated, but is traditionally done reclined; the goal is to be as comfortable as possible. Bring mats, pillows, blankets, eye pillows- whatever you need to get cozy. Breath techniques and visualizations will guide your body and mind into such a deep state of rest, natural recovery and regeneration begins to occur.
