Now here we are: Arizona adults age 21+ can purchase the plant from a licensed dispensary. And the world keeps on spinning – imagine that! As we step into this brave new world of weed together, there are a few ground rules to keep in mind as a recreational (aka Adult Use) customer that are different from the experience of medical card holders. Here are some guidelines by the numbers:
1oz – maximum total product Adult Use patrons may purchase (28g)
5g – maximum of your total purchase that can be a combination of Edibles, Cartridges, Topicals, & Concentrates (Tinctures not available for rec purchase)
16% – extra tax applied to your cannabis purchase on top of city, county, and state taxes
100mg – maximum THC allowed in packaged edibles
6 – maximum number of plants one 21+ adult can legally grow (12 plants per household)
0 – number of public places where cannabis use is legal (restaurants, parks, sidewalks, etc.)
